Virtus.pro strike back hard with a brand-new roster to win the ESL One Los Angeles Online tournament.

The best-of-five grand finals was everything fans wanted, all five games where the final game comes down to the line. Virtus.pro was the hottest team coming into the series along with defeating OG in their two previous series (4-0).

Game 1 looked like a repeat of the previous series, VP jumped onto a quick 1-0 lead. OG came back and struck twice in games 2 and 3. Game 4 wasn’t any different, VP tied the series up, but all four games have been pretty one-sided.

Finally, Game 5 gave a even game for fans to really look forward to. OG took the majority of the lead and had some great team fights with Enigma’s blackhole. VP was able to defend against OG until Igor “iLTW” Filatov got big enough on his Bristleback to start fighting the entire OG.

OG weren’t slouches when it came to the fights, they constantly had a promising start, but they lacked the damage to eliminate any of the heroes on VP’s side.

Virtus.pro only dropped two games in the entire playoff and they all came in the grand finals.

VP had multiple iterations for their roster as of late and this one is finally coming together. OG also played with two stand-in for this tournament. Both teams played well with the current pandemic situations.

These teams will be back at it this upcoming week for WePlay’s Pushka League.
